Sits behind the recoil spring to stop bolt and trip overtravel.

If you want to run a Super Safety in a full-size MP5 or MP5 clone, you’ll need a buffer. Installed behind the recoil spring, this buffer prevents the bolt and trip lever from overtravelling and getting lodged in the rear of the receiver.

Not for K-size MP5s — full-size only.

A recoil buffer is required to run a Super Safety on the full-size MP5 platform.
